Job Description

The Golf Course Clubhouse Attendant provides support to the daily operations of the golf course by assisting with clubhouse organization, stocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming environment for golfers and visitors. The position focuses on routine support tasks that help ensure the clubhouse and surrounding guest areas are clean, organized, and ready for daily use. The City is partnering with a Supported Employment Services provider to recruit and support individuals in this role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys following established routines, working independently, and contributing to a positive customer service experience. Under the direction of the Golf Course Manger or designee, the Golf Course Clubhouse Attendant will: Empty and replace trash bags in designated receptacles throughout the clubhouse and surrounding areas. Sweep entryways, patios, sidewalks, and other public-facing outdoor areas to maintain a neat appearance. Restock beverage coolers with soda and other beverages as needed. Refill sand and seed containers used by golfers on the course. Stock clubhouse supplies and assist with organizing storage areas. Assist with keeping customer service areas organized and presentable throughout the day. Monitor supply levels and notify the supervisor when replenishment is needed. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor. Follow all City safety procedures and department policies. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Perform other related housekeeping and stocking duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Ability to perform routine stocking, organizing, and facility support tasks. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to work independently after receiving training. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to interact professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and the public. Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience stocking supplies, organizing work areas, or providing general facility support is helpful but not required. Experience working in a team environment is preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, stoop, reach, and lift supplies and materials. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Push or pull carts or cleaning equipment as needed. Work Schedule Summer Season (approximately April through October):
Mondays:
4 hours
Fridays:
4 hours Approximately 8 hours per week Winter Season (approximately November through March):
Fridays:
4 hours Approximately 4 hours per week Work schedules may be adjusted based on operational needs or weather conditions.
