Are you looking for a fun, fast paced, team-oriented, and community-centered work environment? Come join the Seattle Parks and Recreation Team this Summer! We have multiple positions available supporting various recreation programs that will run June-September throughout our vibrant City of Seattle.

We operate over 50 recreation facilities (community centers, teen centers, pools, school-based learning centers, environmental learning centers, and boating and sailing centers) and provide opportunities for people to play, learn, and lead healthy, active lives. Our programs and events include fitness and athletics, licensed childcare and preschool, swimming and boating, youth development and job preparation, academic enrichment, and more -- including programs designed for older adults and people with disabilities, as well as grant and partnership programs designed and implemented with immigrant and refugee communities. Wading Pool Attendants can work up to 40 hours if needed with an average of about 24 hours/week. Apply to become a Seattle Parks and Recreation Wading Pool Attendant! You will meet new people, make new friends, and enjoy the summer while getting paid! Job Responsibilities Oversee the operation of wading pool. Clean, fill, drain, and maintain the water quality of the wading pool and surrounding area. Act as the on-site relations representative of Parks and Recreation. Perform first aid and handle incidents as they arise. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
May be required to work evenings and weekends. Normally required to lift to 50 pounds. First Aid and CPR Certificate required and offered within first week of employment upon hiring. You will love this job if you: Enjoy providing excellent customer service and have strong communication skills. Don't mind working Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays. Additional Information The full salary range for this position is $26.91 - $40.31 per hour plus premium pay. Up to 40 hours per week. Mid-June to Labor Day.
