Part-Time About Us Emerald City Athletics is a welcoming fitness community dedicated to helping members live healthier lives. Our Kids Club provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment where members' children can play while parents work out. We're looking for energetic, responsible individuals who enjoy working with children and creating a positive experience for families. Job Summary The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for supervising children in the gym's childcare area, ensuring a safe, clean, and fun environment. This role involves engaging children in age-appropriate activities, maintaining safety policies, and providing excellent customer service to gym members and their families. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor children ages 3 months
  • 12 years in the Kids Club room
  • Engage children in games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
  • Enforce Kids Club rules and safety guidelines
  • Check children in and out according to gym procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized play area
  • Communicate professionally with parents and gym staff
  • Respond calmly and appropriately to children's needs or incidents Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous childcare, babysitting, daycare, or camp experience preferred
  • Friendly, patient, and energetic personality
  • Ability to supervise multiple children at once
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, move, and actively engage with children for extended periods
  • Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
  • Participate in active play, bending, and reaching as needed Schedule
  • Short shifts
  • Mon-Fri 4 pm
  • 8 pm
