Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and service-driven General Manager to lead operations at one of the region's premier outdoor recreation destinations at Rancho Seco Recreational park. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who is passionate about hospitality, guest experiences, team development, and outdoor recreation. The General Manager will oversee all daily operations of the park, including guest services, lodging accommodations, marina and recreational activities, retail operations, staffing, safety compliance, and overall property management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to creating exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence. Position MUST live on site. Full RV Hook up site available. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all park operations, guest services, and recreational activities Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and a welcoming environment Oversee budgeting, financial performance, payroll, and operational reporting Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards throughout the property Coordinate maintenance, facility upkeep, and vendor relationships Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and operational efficiency Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively Promote a positive team culture focused on accountability, communication, and service excellence Support marketing initiatives, events, and revenue growth opportunities Qualifications Previous management or general management experience in hospitality, recreation, parks, lodging, resort, marina, campground, or related industries Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Experience managing budgets, operations, and staff performance Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays Passion for hospitality, outdoor recreation, and guest engagement Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive salary Opportunity to lead a unique recreational destination Supportive and team-oriented environment Professional growth and advancement opportunities The chance to make a lasting impact on guest experiences and park operations If you are a motivated leader ready to take the next step in your career and help create memorable experiences for guests at Rancho Seco Recreational Park, we encourage you to apply today.
