Welcome to a workplace that feels as good as it looks! #PGH-CHA What you will have an opportunity to do: Seasonal Pool Lead Job Description The pool experience is one of the most memorable parts of a guest's stay at a hotel or resort. From the cleanliness of the deck to the quality of guest interactions, every detail matters. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and guest-focused Seasonal Pool Lead to help oversee daily pool operations during the summer season. The Seasonal Pool Lead serves as a key support position for the Pool Supervisor by helping lead Pool Attendants, maintaining pool area standards, assisting with guest needs, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong hospitality skills who enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Essential Responsibilities Assist the Pool Supervisor with the daily operation of the pool area Provide leadership and direction to Pool Attendants during shifts Support team members in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the pool deck Greet and engage with guests to ensure a positive and memorable pool experience Assist with pool chair, cabana, and fire pit reservations Help oversee setup and operation of fire pits and poolside amenities Coordinate with poolside food and beverage teams to ensure efficient guest service Monitor towel inventory and communicate needs with Housekeeping Assist with opening and closing procedures for the pool area Ensure pool furniture, umbrellas, cabanas, and guest areas remain clean and properly arranged throughout the day Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns Remove trash, used towels, and debris from pool and service areas Help train and mentor new Pool Attendants on service standards and operational procedures Maintain safety awareness and ensure resort policies are followed at all times Communicate operational updates or guest concerns to the Pool Supervisor or management team Qualifications Previous hospitality, recreation, pool, or guest service experience preferred Prior leadership or team lead experience is a plus Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate weight as needed Seasonal Position Details Seasonal summer position Opportunity to gain leadership experience in hospitality operations Fast-paced, energetic, and team-oriented environment What We're Looking For Positive attitude and professional appearance Strong work ethic and reliability Team player with leadership potential Attention to detail and passion for guest service Ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all guests If you enjoy working outdoors, creating memorable guest experiences, and leading by example, we invite you to join our team for an exciting summer season at the pool.
