Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking Resource Pool Manager candidates to join our Clinical Operations team! This position works full-time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Job Responsibilities:
Manages and directs the clinical assignments for all Clinical Resource Pool staff including hiring and onboarding. Directly manages and provides back up support to the Broadway site Staffing Supervisor. In collaboration with the Clinical Education team, oversees the extensive six-month training of new Resource Pool staff. In collaboration with the Clinical Education Team, assesses the work performance of Resource Pool staff to ensure correct department protocols are being followed. Checks with Resource pool personnel to gauge their comfort level within a specific assignment. Assigns Resources Pool staff to a new department each time they successfully complete the competency list for the current department they are training in. Approves or denies time off requests for all clinic locations based on the availability of resource coverage. Looks for alternative dates and suggests them where available. Assists supervisors and managers with potential needs for future coverage by anticipating time off needs based on information given/available. (e.g., notice of FAMLI, performance concerns, illness, resource personnel preparedness through orientation.). Tracks and analyzes costs to prepare annual department budgets. Demonstrates awareness of cost containment by overseeing appropriateness of overtime for medical assistants and registered nurses Ensures that staff work schedules are appropriate for the effective operation of Boulder Medical center. Forecasts resource coverage for medical assistants and registered nurses.
Experience and Skills:
Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with providers and staff. Must be self-directed, highly motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and work ethic emphasizing tact, diplomacy, flexibility and confidentiality. Must be proficient with physician scheduling software, Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, and payroll /timekeeping system.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational management, related field or 3+ years of relevant experience required.
Previous Experience:
3+ years of progressively responsible office management or clinical office management experience. Relevant clinical office management experience with an emphasis in nursing and/or healthcare staffing preferred.
Salary:
$64,000 - $84,000/annually; depending on experience
