Job Description

Overview Are you passionate about the intersection of fitness and recovery? Join the first facility in Grand Junction to offer a comprehensive fitness and recovery suite—including a premium gym, sauna, and cold plunge. We are seeking a high-energy, organized, and community-driven Gym & Wellness Operations Manager . This is a unique dual-capacity role where you will spearhead our new gym operations while providing vital administrative support to our established Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy clinic. Key Responsibilities Facility & Operations Management Launch & Lead:
Oversee daily operations of the gym, including member onboarding, account management, and facility maintenance.
Standards of Excellence:
Ensure the gym and recovery areas (sauna/cold plunge) are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Equipment Care:
Perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance. Must be comfortable lifting up to 100 lbs to reorganize dumbbells and equipment as needed.
Front Desk & Clinical Support Patient Experience:
Act as the welcoming face of our Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy clinic, assisting with scheduling and front-desk workflows.
Integrated Care:
Help members navigate our full spectrum of services, from clinical therapy to fitness and recovery tools.
Marketing & Community Growth Digital Presence:
Create engaging social media content (videos/posts) and print materials to highlight our unique facility.
Growth Strategy:
Collaborate on marketing campaigns and membership drives to boost retention and attract new members.
Events:
Plan and execute community events and workshops that position us as the premier wellness hub in Grand Junction.
Qualifications Required:
Proven Leadership:
Experience in management within a fitness, hospitality, or resort environment.
Marketing Savvy:
Demonstrated ability to create compelling content for social media and basic print media.
People First:
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, "can-do" attitude.
Safety Conscious:
Knowledge of health and safety regulations; CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
Physical Ability:
Capability to move heavy fitness equipment (up to 100 lbs).
Preferred:
Experience in a wellness or clinical setting (PT, Chiropractic, or Massage). A background in event planning or community organizing. Familiarity with gym management software. Why Join Us?
