Location Cutler Bay Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 53138.53 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 93994.22 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. One year of supervisory, managerial and/or administrative experience to include maintenance, operations and/or recreation programming within a park and recreation system or related field is required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver s License. Must be able to work weekdays, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed. Additional supervisory, managerial and/or administrative experience to include maintenance, operations and/or recreation programming within a park and recreation system or related field may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Recruitment Notes This professional position involves supervisory and administrative responsibility for the overall management and operation of a neighborhood park. Responsibilities include planning and overseeing ballfield and landscape maintenance, developing and implementing recreational programs, coordinating special events, and managing revenue-generating activities. The position includes preparing clear and concise written and verbal reports regarding facility operations, assisting with budget development, requisitioning equipment and supplies, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of departmental resources. Additionally, the Park Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with the public, community stakeholders, and Commissioner District Offices. The Park Manager also provides leadership in personnel matters, including employee performance evaluations, promotional recommendations, disciplinary actions, and hiring recommendations. This position involves a flexible work schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
