The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and 2-3 years of experience in the pool service industry . This role involves ensuring that pools are well-maintained, safe, and clean for our clients. The Retail Pool Store Manager will work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality. We are a fun and family-oriented company where every team member is key to our success. Duties Oversee daily store operations, managing staff (training, motivating), controlling inventory and ordering, achieving sales targets, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Handle visual merchandising, maintain store appearance, resolve customer complaints, and ensure compliance with company policies and requirements Key responsibilities involve creating sales strategies, providing technical support on pool chemicals and equipment, conducting water analysis, and maintaining visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness. Diagnose issues with pool equipment and perform necessary small repairs or replacements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on-site. Communicate with clients regarding maintenance schedules, service updates, and any issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of services performed, including chemical levels and equipment status. Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Have 2-3 years of experience in the pool industry. Able to pass a criminal background check and possess a clean driving record. Must have and maintain a current Driver's license. Proven Pool knowledge with a strong understanding of pool systems and components. Experience in pool maintenance, cleaning, and repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance tasks. Previous experience as a service technician is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients. Demonstrate a high level of mental aptitude and physical ability. Ability to prioritize workload. Dependable and self-motivated with a desire to work year-round. Ability to take instruction and adapt to new methods/systems. Proper swimming pool cleaning methods and techniques. Proper use of swimming pool chemicals Physical Demands with or without accommodations are not limited to: Able to lift 50 lbs. or more. Stand for extended periods of time Repetitive lifting, twisting, bending, pulling, and pushing may be required.
