Job Description
The Pool Manager oversees daily operations of an aquatic facility to ensure a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for patrons and staff. Supervises pool workforce. Maintains chemicals and pool facility. Deliver supplies to the pools, perform minor maintenance work, assist in training on how to maintain chemicals in pools, and check that the manager is keeping the pools up to standard. Must be responsible for all pool facilities and equipment, and maintain the pools and pool shop. Must be able to keep records on equipment, supplies, and maintenance. Must be able to pass the city-driving course. The Pool Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the pools are mechanically and chemically kept at health department standards during the absence of pool staff. Carries out a continuous effort to improve operations and work processes, and works cooperatively and jointly to provide continuous improvement and customer-driven service. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to operate or use tools, operate pool vacuums, handle and count money, lead, and coordinate up to 30 staff. Minimum of 18 years old. Be in high school, have graduated high school, or have GED. Know how to use a computer. Must have A Valid State Driver's License. The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, or walking. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will work early morning and late afternoons, lift heavy objects, when necessary, drive to each pool site and complete any minor maintenance work required. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: Balancing
