The name FS8 stands for Functional Style 8, referring to the brand's eight core elements that guide its holistic training philosophy; including mobility, posture, strength, balance, flexibility, and mindfulness. FS8 was originally founded in Australia in 2021 and has expanded into regions across Europe, Asia, North America and the Middle East. This studio is looking for a proactive and energetic Studio Manger to deliver an incredible customer experience and lead the team in-studio. This is an amazing opportunity to join the FS8 team. Position Overview As the Studio Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, sales, and staff management to ensure an exceptional member experience. You will be responsible for driving membership acquisition and retention, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a supportive, inclusive studio culture that aligns with FS8's core values. Key Responsibilities Operations & Sales
  • Execute pre-sale strategies to build a strong foundation of founding members.
  • Manage and track leads, trials, and membership conversions to meet studio KPI goals.
  • Ensure the studio maintains a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage studio email, virtual communications, and member inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Open and close the studio, ensuring all setup and breakdown duties are completed.
  • Instruct 10 FS8 classes per week, with flexibility based on coverage needs.
  • Build relationships with members to foster community engagement and retention.
  • Clearly explain FS8 programming and membership options to prospective members.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute social media and local marketing initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee studio staff, Front Desk personnel, alongside the Head Trainer.
  • Manage staff schedules, ensuring smooth operations and adequate class coverage.
  • Host regular staff meetings to align on goals, updates, and operational excellence.
  • Communicate consistently with staff regarding studio updates, program changes, and member trial/conversion data.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to drive B2B partnerships.
  • Represent FS8 in the community to enhance brand awareness and studio growth.
  • Organize and participate in community events and activations. Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role within the fitness industry preferred.
  • Experience with Mindbody Business software.
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Punctual and Reliable
  • Ability to implement and streamline new procedures in a diverse environment
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and proactively communicate with management
  • Effectively manages a team
  • Preferred minimum education to include; Mat and Reformer certification. Applicants with 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (Minimum education to include; Mat, Reformer, and Springboard) will be strongly considered.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
  • Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional and effective communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates, Tone and Yoga.
  • Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry

Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
