At F45 Carmel Clay Terrace, we're seeking an energetic, organized and motivated Studio Manager to lead daily operations, drive membership growth, support our coaching team and create an exceptional experience for every member who walks through our doors. Position Summary The Studio Manager serves as the operational and cultural leader of the studio. This role combines leadership, sales, customer service, coaching and business development responsibilities to ensure the studio operates efficiently while delivering a world-class member experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about fitness, enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about the opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership position. This position requires coaching a minimum of 8 classes per week. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management Lead, mentor and support the coaching team. Work closely with ownership to create team goals. Create and manage weekly coaching schedules. Conduct coach onboarding and ongoing performance development. Foster a positive, accountable and team-oriented studio culture. Ensure all coaches deliver a consistent, high-quality member experience. Membership Sales & Retention Follow up with leads, trial members and prospective clients. Execute membership sales strategies and studio promotions. Drive member retention through relationship building and engagement. Track key sales and membership performance indicators (KPIs). Studio Operations Oversee day-to-day studio operations. Ensure the facility is clean, organized and maintained to brand standards. Manage inventory and studio supplies. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair needs. Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed consistently. Member Experience Deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests. Build strong relationships within the studio community. Address member concerns and resolve issues professionally. Support member onboarding and goal-setting conversations. Help create a welcoming, motivating and inclusive environment. Marketing & Community Outreach Assist with local marketing initiatives and community partnerships. Support studio events, challenges and member appreciation activities. Collaborate on social media content and member success stories. Represent F45 within the local community to drive brand awareness. Coaching Responsibilities Coach a minimum of 8 F45 classes per week. Deliver high-energy, engaging group fitness sessions. Demonstrate exercises and provide modifications as needed. Ensure member safety through proper exercise instruction and form correction. Required Qualifications Active NCCA-approved certification as either: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), or Group Fitness Instructor (GFI/Group X) Current CPR/AED certification. Previous leadership, management, or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or membership-based businesses. Strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software. Preferred Qualifications Previous fitness studio management experience. Experience with membership sales and lead management. Familiarity with Mindbody or similar studio software.
