Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team at Longfellow as an Aquatics Director, where you'll lead the development, management, and operation of our vibrant aquatic programs and facilities. This energetic role demands a passionate leader who can oversee daily operations, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As the driving force behind our aquatics department, you'll inspire your team, coordinate engaging events, and uphold the highest standards of service and safety in a lively resort or recreational environment. Your enthusiasm and management expertise will help create memorable aquatic experiences for all visitors. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the aquatic facilities, ensuring smooth shift management and optimal guest services Lead and supervise a team of lifeguards, instructors, and support staff, fostering a positive and motivated work environment Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of aquatic events and activities to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction Maintain rigorous safety standards by implementing protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with health regulations Manage administrative tasks such as report writing, incident documentation, and safety audits to ensure operational excellence Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide outstanding customer service to enhance overall guest experience Requirements Proven leadership experience in aquatics management or similar hospitality environments such as resorts or recreational facilities Supervising experience with a strong background in managing teams and overseeing shift operations Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming environments for guests of all ages Knowledge of safety protocols related to swimming pools, water parks, or similar aquatic settings; certifications preferred but not mandatory Strong report writing skills for incident reports, safety documentation, and operational logs Join us to lead an energetic team committed to delivering unforgettable aquatic experiences! Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
