$15.00 - $30.00
Hourly Hiring Salary Range:

You can learn about our benefits here: https://humanresources.baltimorecity.gov/hr-divisions/benefits Job Summary The selected candidates may coordinate the daily operations of a large public swimming pool, which can include supervising Lifeguards and Pool Attendants, trains lifeguards in pool safety, investigates and reports pool accidents to superiors, operates pool filtration system and tests pool for water purity, recommends new procedures for controlling swimmers & improving working conditions, cleans pool facilities & grounds, performs pool maintenance, prepares maintenance reports and other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate or currently enrolled in high school between the ages of 16 and 18. •All applicants under the age of 18 must have a valid work permit.

Have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Various Additional Information Background Check Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint screening, and must be successfully completed. Probation All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a 6-month mandatory probation.
