Since 1973, it has been dedicated to providing exceptional amenities, including an indoor pool and whirlpool, tennis courts, fitness classes, KidsWorld, a basketball gymnasium, massage rooms, and a cafe. The club prides itself on delivering a premier experience for members and guests alike. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Aquatics Director to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will support the management of our aquatic facilities, oversee daily operations, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. Your leadership will help maintain safety standards, coordinate events, and foster a welcoming environment for all visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your management skills within a vibrant resort setting. Responsibilities Assist in managing the daily operations of the indoor pool and aquatic facilities, ensuring safety and cleanliness. Teach private and semi-private lessons regularly. Teach group swim lessons. Supervise lifeguards and aquatic staff, providing leadership and guidance during shifts. Lead water aerobics classes as needed. Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff coverage and handling guest inquiries. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including water quality standards and emergency procedures. Support guest services by addressing member concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain detailed reports on facility operations, incident logs, and staff performance. Experience Supervising experience in a hospitality or recreation environment is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively. Customer service expertise with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Experience in event management or coordinating recreational activities is advantageous. Knowledge of report writing, shift management and safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting; assistant manager experience is a plus.
