Job Description

Develops, organizes and implements high-quality Y Aquatic Programs at the Norfolk Family Y. This position will provide overall direction and leadership to the Y's aquatic facility.
Qualifications:
Preferred minimum 2 years of related experience in aquatics/lifeguarding. Completion trainer certification for
Red Cross:
Lifeguard, CPR & AED, First Aid & Bloodborne Pathogens within the first 3 months of hire. Completion of Child Abuse Prevention within 60 days of hire. Must have great interpersonal, leadership, public relations & communication skills. The ideal candidate will not only possess knowledge of the YMCA mission and values but will already be working to manifest these ideals in all aspects of their life.
