Job Description
Oxford Spires International (OSI) delivers immersive summer programs for international students ages 8-17, combining English learning with cultural experiences, excursions, and activities.

As the Activities Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and overseeing the student activity program outside of the classroom. From sports tournaments and evening events to major excursions around the New York/New Jersey area, you'll help ensure students stay engaged, excited, and safe throughout their experience. You'll manage Activity Leaders, coordinate schedules, oversee excursions, and help deliver a fun, structured program that students will remember long after summer ends.Key Responsibilities:
Activity Programming Plan and oversee daily on-campus activities Organize evening events, games, tournaments, and social activities Ensure activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and inclusive Create activity schedules that align with program needs Develop contingency plans for weather or schedule changes Excursions & Trip Management Coordinate off-site trips throughout New York City, New Jersey, and surrounding areas Manage transportation logistics Ensure proper supervision ratios during excursions Oversee student safety during off-site trips Coordinate attraction bookings and itinerary logistics Staff Leadership Supervise and support Activity Leaders Create staff schedules and assign responsibilities Lead daily team briefings Ensure staff are delivering high-quality student experiences Address operational issues as they arise Student Experience & Welfare Help ensure student safety during activities and excursions Address student concerns during activity programming Promote a fun, inclusive environment Support behavioral expectations and student engagement Administrative Responsibilities Maintain activity records and schedules Track attendance during activities and excursions Assist with incident documentation when needed Communicate regularly with center leadershipMinimum Qualifications:
Experience working in summer camps, youth programs, student travel, or recreation Experience leading teams Strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills Ability to manage multiple moving parts in fast-paced environments Experience working with children, teenagers, or young adults Flexible and reliable attitude Must be authorized to work in theUnited States Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience managing activity programs Experience coordinating excursions or travel logistics Experience working with international students First Aid/CPR certification Familiarity with New York City/New Jersey attractions and transportation systems is highly preferredSchedule:
Program-based schedule Daytime, evening, and weekend responsibilities required Residential staff live on-site during the program Must be available for set up before student arrivalWhat We Offer:
