Job Description
Job Summary The Club Manager oversees gym operations to deliver a welcoming, positive, and exceptional "Judgement Free" experience while ensuring the club's financial success. Responsible for leading and developing a motivated team, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and managing daily operations. Duties and Responsibilities Create and maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere Oversee member service Staff management: Recruit, onboard, train, and develop staff Create staff schedules Provide coverage during absences Manage payroll and HR documentation Resolve employee issues or concerns Handle employee discipline, retraining, offboarding, and termination Oversee inventory, organization, cleanliness, and maintenance of the club Knowledge of marketing campaigns, promotions, and offers Track operational statistics and reports Involved in all front desk operations: Greet members, guests, and prospects Respond to member questions and concerns Answer phones promptly Check in members and update accounts Facilitate new member sign-ups and conduct tours Qualifications and Requirements Superior customer and leadership skills Basic computer proficiency Passionate about fitness and health Hardworking, diplomatic, and energetic Positive and interpersonal Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to resolve issues effectively High school diploma or GED equivalent required Must be 18 years of age or older Physical Demands Remain standing or walking for extended periods Frequent communication, in-person and via phone Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
