ELITE Travel Summer Camp Director Elmsford Day Camp - 4.5 Elmsford, NY Job Details Temporary $3,500 - $4,000 a month 1 hour ago Qualifications Field trips for children Organizational skills Working with youth Camp Full Job Description Job Overview Elmsford Summer Camp is seeking a responsible, organized, and energetic ELITE Camp Travel Director to oversee daily off-site trips for our camp program. The Travel Director will help prepare for trips during the week of June 29 , then oversee daily weekday camp trips from July 6 through July 31 . This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, confident leading groups, comfortable managing logistics, and enjoys working with children in an active camp environment. Responsibilities Must be available June 29 through July 31 Help prepare and organize trip logistics prior to the start of daily trips Oversee daily camp trips Monday through Friday from July 6 through July 31 Ensure all campers are accounted for before, during, and after each trip Supervise campers and staff while traveling and at off-site locations Communicate trip expectations, schedules, and safety rules to campers and staff Coordinate with bus drivers, camp leadership, and trip venues as needed Maintain attendance records and assist with camper grouping Help manage camper behavior and ensure a positive, safe environment Respond appropriately to minor issues, schedule changes, or emergencies Communicate any concerns, incidents, or updates to camp administration Qualifications Must be available weekdays from June 29 through July 31 Prior experience working with children, camps, schools, recreation programs, or youth programs preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy group setting Reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking initiative Comfortable supervising campers during transportation and off-site activities
