Job Description

Area Lead Flexologist Position Summary StretchLab is seeking an experienced fitness and wellness professional with strong leadership capabilities to serve as our Area Lead Flexologist. This role is responsible for elevating the client experience, developing and supporting Flexologist teams across multiple studios, and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobility, movement, and wellness while possessing the ability to lead diverse personalities, inspire high-performing teams, and create an engaging studio culture. This individual will serve as both a mentor and coach, ensuring the highest standards of stretch delivery, member experience, and team development. StretchLab is the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching. Our proprietary Flexologist Training Program equips practitioners from a variety of wellness backgrounds to deliver world-class stretching sessions that help clients move better, feel better, and live longer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and support Flexologist teams across multiple studio locations. Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new Flexologists. Create a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture that aligns with StretchLab's core values. Effectively manage varying personalities and communication styles while fostering teamwork and accountability. Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and development meetings. Identify and develop future leaders within the Flexologist team. Host monthly team meetings and continuing education workshops. Client Experience & Stretch Delivery Deliver exceptional one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to six clients. Ensure consistency and excellence in stretch delivery across all studios. Educate clients on mobility, flexibility, recovery, and wellness goals. Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretch journey. Handle member concerns and service recovery situations professionally and effectively. Conduct introductory stretches and mobility assessments for prospective members. Operational Excellence Coordinate and manage Flexologist schedules to support studio needs. Monitor key performance indicators including member retention, utilization, conversions, and client satisfaction. Coach underperforming team members and implement action plans for improvement. Maintain compliance with StretchLab protocols, safety procedures, and service standards. Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are clean, organized, and operating efficiently. Technology & Administrative Responsibilities Utilize studio technology platforms, scheduling systems, and reporting tools effectively. Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve team performance and member experience. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication across multiple studios. Adapt quickly to new software, systems, and operational processes. Partner with studio leadership to support business initiatives and operational goals. Sales & Membership Support Collaborate with General Managers and Sales Teams to drive membership growth and retention. Support member conversion efforts through exceptional introductory experiences. Assist with community outreach, events, and partnership opportunities as needed. Serve as a brand ambassador both in-studio and within the local community. Qualifications Required Passion for health, wellness, mobility, and the boutique fitness industry. Minimum 2 years of experience in a fitness, wellness, rehabilitation, or movement-based profession. Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience. Proven ability to lead teams, manage different personalities, and create a positive workplace culture. Strong coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Highly organized with excellent time management abilities. Comfortable using technology, scheduling software, reporting platforms, and Microsoft/Google applications. Ability to analyze performance data and implement improvement strategies. Preferred Professional Background Applicants should hold current certification, licensure, or significant experience in one or more of the following: Personal Training Physical Therapy Physical Therapist Assistant Athletic Training Massage Therapy Pilates Instruction Yoga Instruction Dance Instruction Exercise Science or Kinesiology Chiropractic Care Leadership Competencies Team Building & Development Culture Creation & Employee Engagement Accountability & Performance Management Problem Solving & Decision Making Emotional Intelligence Adaptability & Change Management Professional Communication Physical Requirements Ability to demonstrate and perform assisted stretches for extended periods. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
