Job Overview As an Assistant Membership Director, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting the fitness team, designing engaging programs, and creating a motivating environment for members. Duties Assist the Memebership Director in managing daily operations of the fitness department, ensuring smooth service delivery and member satisfaction Sell gym memberships Lead generation and marketing Manage schedules and ensure proper staff coverages Provide leadership to other staff members Develop and implement fitness programs and initiatives Promote a positive and welcoming environment to members Oversee the daily operations of the fitness center Handle member inquires, concerns and complaints with professionalism Monitor and maintain equipment and facility cleanliness Skills Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics to effectively design safe and effective fitness programs Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or teaching physical education with a focus on motivating diverse audiences Excellent program design skills that incorporate current trends in health club workouts and sports coaching techniques Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with members and staff while promoting a positive gym atmosphere Knowledge of fitness sales strategies combined with a passion for helping others achieve their health goals Leadership skills to support staff development, foster teamwork, and maintain high standards within the gym environment Familiarity with health club operations, safety regulations, and equipment management Join us as an Assistant Membership Director to empower individuals through dynamic fitness experiences!
