Job Description
Pilates Studio Manager Status:
Part-time, plus teaching classes and training clients Position Overview Come grow with us! The Lewis JCC (formerly JCC Rockland) is looking for a Pilates Studio Manager to help expand and grow our Pilates program to meet our members' current needs and to keep up with fitness trends. We offer mat classes, reformer classes, and private training in our dedicated Pilates Studio. The right candidate must be a team player who is passionate about Pilates and encouraging others to achieve their health and fitness goals. The Pilates Studio manager will work closely with a team of fitness managers, as well as Pilates Coaches and fitness instructors. Primary Responsibilities Oversee daily Pilates training sessions and Reformer classes Schedule and deliver Pilates demos to educate members Teach classes and deliver private Pilates sessions Help create and deliver in-house Pilates informational sessions to teach our members about Pilates, and encourage them to participate. Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling Hire and train instructors as needed Communicate regularly with our Pilates clients, and reach out to and generate prospective clients Detailed-oriented Qualifications Enthusiastic, creative, and enjoys delivering new, fresh, innovative routines.Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Have a positive attitude and passion to motivate and encourage others.
Past experience managing a studio/staff is a plus. Experience in teaching to varied demographics and clients of all levels.
Must hold a current Pilates certification by a nationally accredited organization.
