Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy, strategic Floating General Manager to lead our location in Cincinnati while supporting additional facilities across multiple states on a business-need basis. This leader will train directly under ownership and serve as the on-site General Manager in Cincinnati. When operational needs arise, this role requires travel to other locations — including extended stays — to strengthen leadership, improve performance, execute campaigns, and ensure brand consistency. Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Team Leadership Oversee all day-to-day operations including staffing, scheduling, inventory, facility upkeep, and member experience Recruit, train, and manage all staff Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values Travel to other states as needed to assess operations, implement improvements, and train local teams Member Experience & Programming Create a welcoming, high-energy environment for players of all skill levels Develop and oversee leagues, tournaments, clinics, and community events Resolve member concerns with professionalism, urgency, and empathy Sales, Marketing & Community Growth Execute local marketing initiatives in coordination with the marketing team Drive membership growth, program participation, and event sales Build and maintain community partnerships Maintain weekly coordination with marketing to support outreach and campaigns Business & Financial Management Own the P&L and manage budgets, revenue goals, and performance metrics Implement revenue-driving strategies and cost-control measures Partner with ownership to achieve key benchmarks Event Sales & Sponsorship Development Generate event and sponsorship leads through proactive outreach and networking Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals Secure sponsorship partners (banners, court wraps, tournaments, brand activations) Oversee execution of events to ensure client satisfaction Maintain strong relationships to drive renewals and upsells Qualifications 3+ years of General Manager leadership experience (multi-unit experience a plus) Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills Proven ability to lead teams and drive business results Background in racquet sports preferred; pickleball experience a plus Comfortable working morning, evenings, weekends, and event schedules Must be willing to travel to different states and stay for extended periods when operational needs require
