Job Description

Job Summary Quidnessett Country Club seeking an energetic and qualified Swimming Pool Manager to lead our aquatic facilities with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the safety and satisfaction of all guests, and manage a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional pool experiences. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment, uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety, and drive the success of our resort's aquatic amenities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, customer service, and management to make a lasting impact. Duties Supervise all aspects of pool operations, including maintenance, safety protocols, and guest services to ensure a seamless experience for visitors Lead, motivate, and train staff members to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold safety standards Manage shift schedules, delegate responsibilities, and oversee daily staffing needs to maintain efficient operations Enforce health and safety regulations diligently, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with local laws and industry best practices Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a positive environment that encourages repeat visits Oversee cash handling procedures, including point-of-sale transactions and financial reporting related to pool services Coordinate with event management teams for hosting special events or private functions at the pool area Experience Proven management experience in hospitality settings such as resorts, hotels, or recreational facilities with a focus on guest services and operations Supervising experience in environments like nightclubs, restaurants, or event venues is highly desirable Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Experience in report writing for operational documentation, incident reports, or safety audits Background in managing shift schedules, supervising staff members, and overseeing customer service initiatives Knowledge of hospitality industry standards related to resort amenities or recreational facilities Prior assistant manager or management roles in similar settings are preferred
