Job Description

Ocean Lakes Family Campground is looking for an enthusiastic Recreation Assistant Manager to help lead one of the campground's most exciting departments! In this role, you'll partner with the Recreation Manager to oversee daily operations, support an incredible team, and help create the unforgettable memories that keep families coming back year after year. What You'll Be Doing:
Help oversee the daily operations of the Recreation Department, including the Recreation Building, Nature Center, playgrounds, sports courts, fitness areas, Skate Park, Observation Deck, and more. Plan and help bring to life some of Ocean Lakes' biggest events and traditions, including Beach N' Boogie, Easter celebrations, Craft Fair, Halloweekends, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Polar Plunge, and many more exciting activities throughout the year! Inspire, coach, schedule, and support a talented team of full-time, seasonal, and part-time recreation staff. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and team development. Help manage department schedules, budgets, inventory, equipment, and recreation facilities. Ensure all recreation areas are clean, safe, organized, and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Work closely with other departments to create memorable experiences for our guests every single day.
