We're looking for a hands-on leader to run day-to-day studio operations and own our sales and lead pipeline as we continue to grow our member community. About the Role As General Manager, you'll lead all day-to-day studio operations, including managing our coaching team and owning the full sales and lead management funnel, from first inquiry to closed membership. You'll be the face of the studio for both our members and our team, and a key partner to ownership in driving growth. A few highlights of what you'll own:
Team & Studio Management:
Lead and develop our coaching team and ensure studio operations run smoothly every day.
Sales & Lead Management:
Own the lead funnel from initial inquiry through closing memberships — calls, texts, and lead follow-up — as a core part of running the studio.
Member Experience & Retention:
Build strong relationships with members to drive loyalty, engagement, and retention.
Marketing & Community Outreach:
Run local social media efforts, corporate partnerships, and grassroots marketing to grow the community.
Coaching:
Personally lead classes each week, setting the standard for energy and excellence on the floor. Responsibilities Studio & Team Management Manage day-to-day needs of the coaching staff, including feedback and performance issues Support quarterly coaches assessments and recurring coaches meetings Lead the new hire process for coaches (interviews, onboarding, training) Train new coaches and support their continuous development Manage coach scheduling and availability (Sling), including backfilling classes as needed Set up MBO targets each phase and manage class capacity Sales & Lead Management Manage all incoming leads via calls and texts Own and maintain the leads spreadsheet/CRM with daily review and consistent follow-up Follow up with coaches on new trial members to support conversion Run lead generation events, including corporate info sessions and webinars Manage corporate partnerships and local grassroots marketing efforts Member Experience & Retention Manage member accounts: logs, freezes, post-dates, receipts, and terminations Handle day-to-day member escalations, looping in ownership for serious issues Run in-studio member challenges (twice yearly) Respond to member emails and inquiries in a timely manner Reporting & Communication Report studio performance, member feedback, and operational needs to ownership Coaching Personally coach classes each week, modeling F45's standard of coaching excellence What We're Looking For Previous experience in fitness studio management, sales, or a customer-facing leadership role (F45 or boutique fitness experience a plus) Strong organizational skills and comfort owning a sales pipeline with daily follow-up A natural leader who can coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable Excellent communication skills — you'll be talking to members, leads, coaches, and ownership daily Comfortable with CRM/lead tracking tools and studio management software (e.g., Mindbody) A genuine passion for fitness and building community Group fitness coaching certification, or willingness to obtain one
