Job Description
Overview Established in 1957, Riverbend Country Club is a premier private, member-owned club located in the heart of Sugar Land, Texas. Known for its championship golf course, exceptional dining, and family-friendly environment, Riverbend offers a tradition of southern hospitality combined with a modern, progressive approach to club operations.
The club features:
18-hole championship golf course designed by Press Maxwell Newly renovated practice facilities and clubhouse spaces Active tennis, pickleball, and swim programs Experience Required Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hospitality, private club, golf operations, or luxury service environment Prior experience in a locker room or member-facing service role preferred Demonstrated ability to deliver high-touch, personalized service to a discerning clientele Experience supervising staff or leading a small team strongly preferred Strong understanding of service standards, cleanliness, and facility presentation expectations Ability to manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory, and member requests Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor in a member-focused environment Experience handling confidential member information with discretion Familiarity with golf operations or private club culture is a plus Essential Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the men's locker room, ensuring an exceptional, consistent member experience Deliver high-touch, personalized service to members and guests, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests Supervise, train, and schedule locker room attendants; set clear service expectations and maintain accountability Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation throughout the locker room and related facilities Manage locker assignments, member preferences, and personal belongings with accuracy and discretion Coordinate services such as shoe care and laundry in a timely and professional manner Build strong relationships with members, fostering a welcoming and familiar environment Monitor and replenish inventory of supplies, amenities, and retail items as needed Collaborate with Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless service across the club Address member concerns or feedback promptly and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate Ensure compliance with all club policies, safety standards, and procedures Assist with special events, tournaments, and high-volume days to maintain service standards Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid time off, including vacation and holidays 401(k) plan Complimentary meals during shifts Uniforms provided Golf privileges Professional development and growth opportunities within the clubSimilar jobs in Sugar Land, TX
