Pool Manager (Full-Time) - Gainesville, VA We are hiring a full-time Pool Manager to oversee operations at the community pool in Gainesville, VA. This role is responsible for ensuring the pool runs safely, smoothly, and professionally every day. This is a hands-on leadership position — you are expected to be on-site, manage staff, and take ownership of all daily operations. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of one pool facility Supervise, schedule, and support lifeguard staff Ensure all safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met Handle daily attendance, breaks, and staff coverage Respond to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns Maintain a professional and positive environment for residents Communicate with supervisors and community management as needed Complete routine reports and ensure compliance with company policies What This Role Requires Strong reliability — the pool depends on you being present and in control Ability to manage people, not just tasks Quick decision-making in real-time situations Willingness to handle issues directly (staff performance, guest complaints, etc.) Attention to detail — small issues become big problems if ignored Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or team leadership preferred Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain before start) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work full-time, including weekends and holidays Compensation & Growth Full-time position Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to grow into multi-site or supervisory roles
