Dink and Dine is an innovative hospitality and pickle ball destination where outstanding food, craft cocktails, and community-driven experiences come together. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and entertainment programming. Responsibilities:
Cocktail Program Development Create and maintain a seasonal cocktail menu that reflects Dink and Dine's brand and culinary direction. Develop and document recipes with precise measurements and consistent preparation standards. Train team on cocktail builds, flavor profiles, and presentation standards. Stay ahead of trends in mixology, spirits, ingredients, and techniques. Collaborate with the kitchen to create pairings, specials, and featured menus. Bar Operations & Team Leadership Oversee the daily operation of the bar, ensuring smooth and consistent service. Hire, train, and coach a high-performing bar team. Foster a fun, safe, and engaging environment for guests and staff. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the bar. Lead creative beverage programming in partnership with leadership. Guest Experience & Culture Deliver exceptional service and uphold the Dink and Dine hospitality culture. Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency. Coach staff on guest recovery, upselling, and personalized service. Create a bar atmosphere that drives repeat visits and community engagement. Inventory, Financial, and Operational Management Manage bar inventory, beverage cost control, and ordering processes. Build and manage employee schedules within labor budget targets. Monitor financial performance including sales reports, COGS, and labor spend. Ensure all bar systems, policies, and procedures are consistently followed. Live Entertainment & Event Programming Curate and book live entertainment aligned with brand and demographic. Knowledge of performer contracts and manage show logistics Partner with marketing to promote events across multiple platforms. Track entertainment ROI and guest feedback to refine future programming.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bar management (high-volume or entertainment venue preferred) Certified in responsible alcohol service (e.g., Title 4, ServSafe Alcohol Food Handlers cert) Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience with inventory control, cost management, and scheduling Proficient with POS and bar management software Experience booking entertainment or managing live events is a plus Must be 21 years of age or older Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education:
High school diploma or GED required Hospitality or management-related education preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week Able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift) Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds Tolerance for loud environments, high-energy guest traffic, and various temperatures Must be able to work indoors and outdoors and handle allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, gluten, shellfish)
