Job Description

➢ Invest in the team by conducting on-the-spot feedback and work under the supervision of the GM to draft and deliver coaching documents and performance reviews ➢ Complete and maintain knowledge found in all Learning Management System (LMS) paths and in-person coaching, ensuring you and the team remain up-to-date and in compliance with policies and best practices ➢ Engage in the growth and development process by implementing feedback received from the GM through regular coaching and training, proactively seeking opportunities for personal growth ➢ Create and lead an inspiring environment with a positive, friendly, and caring attitude while interacting with your team, little Chuzers, and their families ➢ Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and work with the GM to create discussion points and activities ➢ Ensure all amenities and facilities in the KC are operational by maintaining proactive cross-departmental communication, conducting bi-weekly walkthroughs, and monitoring the Service Management System ➢ Identify opportunities to improve upon current Chuze standards and best practices and collaborate with the management team to implement efficiencies ➢ Collaborate to onboard and recruit new KC team members by conducting phone screens and assisting with in-person interviews under the direction of the GM ➢ Complete administrative duties such as reporting, record-keeping, and managing employee and KC emails ➢ Maintain professional guardian-employee relationships with strong communication skills, intervening in all escalated member/guardian incidents using Chuze Kindness and resolution techniques as needed ➢ Contact guardians to assist with discipline issues, diaper changes, and attend to personal needs ➢ Lead by example in welcoming, greeting, and interacting with all members, prospects, guests, and little Chuzers, providing the best member experience through cleanliness, culture, and customer service ➢ Lead and train the team in all aspects of KC operations, including child sign-ups, checking in and out, amenities, answering phones, running and reviewing reporting, and addressing guardian concerns ➢ Maintain knowledge of front desk operations, including membership tours, billing and pricing, point-of-sale transactions, smoothie sales, and answering phones, utilizing bilingual communication skills if applicable ➢ Complete and delegate daily cleaning tasks to Chuze standards, ensuring KC facilities and toys are clean and sanitized by following the club cleaning schedule ➢ Communicate any inventory needs to the management team, such as cleaning, crafts, and office supplies ➢ Assist in balancing scheduling and labor budgets by communicating scheduling needs or changes in traffic to the GM and maintaining time and attendance records and expectations ➢ Run daily shift operations such as breaking employees for lunches, delegating and following up on cleaning responsibilities, and completing opening and closing responsibilities ➢ Engage with children consistently through activities such as crafts and games while maintaining awareness, appropriately zoning, and prioritizing the safety of all children in the Kids Club ➢ Oversee safety and security of the KC by reviewing CCTV, administering minor first aid per company policy, completing detailed reporting for little Chuzers, and communicating all available information to guardians ➢ Other projects and duties as assigned Chuze Fitness is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Experience Preferred ➢ Bilingual in Spanish (preferred) ➢ Bachelor's degree or current continued education in early childhood education (preferred) ➢ At least 1 year of experience in customer service (preferred) ➢ Physical requirements: Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English Touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement Standing for long periods Computer operations Ability to lift at least 50lbs ➢ Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback ➢ Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail ➢ Organized, accountable, and able to set, prioritize, and reach goals in a fast-paced environment ➢ Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality and build trust from others ➢ Capacity to lead and motivate a large group with excellent verbal and written communication skills ➢ Ability to demonstrate patience while working with children and adults with a positive and playful mindset ➢ Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts regularly or as needed ➢ At least 1 year of experience leading a team (required) ➢ Minimum 1-2 years of Childcare Experience (required) Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
