Full-time SUMMARY:
The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across both the cinema and restaurant areas during assigned shifts. Working under the general direction of the General Manager, this role ensures a smooth, efficient, and high-quality guest experience by supervising team members, maintaining service standards, and supporting all floor operations. The Floor Supervisor leads by example—upholding THE LOT's policies, procedures, and brand standards—while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and hospitality. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence across all departments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, adequate staffing, and completion of side work. Monitor and support staff performance, holding team members accountable to THE LOT's guest service and operational standards. Assist with training and onboarding new team members, ensuring adherence to brand expectations. Solicit and review guest feedback, taking proactive measures to resolve concerns and improve service delivery. Coach, develop, and motivate team members to achieve shift goals and deliver consistent, high quality service. Report team member injuries and guest incidents to HR and Corporate promptly and accurately. Maintain proficiency in Vista Ticketing Point of Sale (POS) system, including but not limited to: ticket sales, comps, swaps, refunds, membership management, marketing/re-admit passes, gift card sales, and point redemptions. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and administrative objectives. Oversee team member rest breaks, unpaid meal breaks, and overtime to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policy. Maintain and update team member checklists, side work assignments, and operational logs. Ensure team members deliver exceptional guest service and uphold THE LOT's brand standards at all times. Perform daily opening, closing, and administrative duties as required. Collaborate with fellow supervisors and managers to ensure seamless operations and communication across departments. Assist with special projects and events as assigned by management. The associate is held accountable for all duties of this job and other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, or entertainment operations. Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills with guests, staff, and peers. Demonstrated dependability and reliability with respect to attendance, punctuality, and follow through. Open availability including weekends, evenings, and major holidays. Proficiency with POS systems (Vista preferred) and strong general computer literacy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English. Must be able to work independently, self-motivate, and exercise good judgment in dynamic situations. Must possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Must conduct oneself in accordance with THE LOT's policies and procedures at all times. Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally. Manual dexterity and coordination are required to perform operational tasks. Frequent movement between cinema, restaurant, and guest service areas required. Must be able to work in environments with varying noise levels and lighting conditions
