This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, instruction, and customer service within a vibrant resort setting. You will support the aquatics program by assisting in daily operations, delivering top-tier swim lessons, and ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional service. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages skill development and lifelong love of water activities. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily aquatics operations, including pool safety protocols and facility maintenance Lead swim lessons for diverse age groups and skill levels, ensuring clear instruction and positive encouragement Assist with managing scheduling, staffing, and training of swim instructors to maintain high-quality program delivery Support event planning and management for poolside activities, competitions, and special aquatic events Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors Enter transactions accurately during program registration at the facility Enforce safety rules and emergency procedures diligently to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff Requirements Proven experience in swim instruction or aquatic management, with strong knowledge of water safety standards Demonstrated skills in events management and coordinating group activities or competitions Excellent customer service and guest relations abilities to create a welcoming atmosphere Management experience preferred, with the ability to lead teams effectively and handle operational responsibilities Strong communication skills to instruct participants clearly and collaborate with team members Passion for hospitality, resort environments, and delivering exceptional guest experiences Must have current Water Safety Instructor certification Hold and maintain current CPR/AED certification
