Full Job Description About Us:
We are a new, high-quality preschool and daycare center located in the heart of Georgetown, D.C., serving children from infants to age 5. We are passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports every child's growth — emotionally, socially, and academically. We're currently hiring a caring, creative, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement daily activities based on age-appropriate curriculum Foster a warm, inclusive, and safe classroom environment Observe and assess children's development and communicate progress with families Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff Follow all licensing and health regulations (including diapering, feeding, and napping schedules for infants/toddlers)
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-2 years working in an early childhood setting CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Must pass all required background checks Reliable, positive, and passionate about working with young children
