JOB SUMMARY
To support and supervise the daily operation of all Entertainment Costuming venues - including, but not limited to, costume issue, laundry, repairs and fittingsMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the daily operation of the Costume Issue Areas; including monitoring staff and ensuring that all standard operating procedures are followed. Coach, monitor and track the staff's work processes. Instruct and monitor costume specialists in required daily techniques and procedures. Work with Entertainment managers on solutions to issues and ensure all costumes are properly maintained. Maintain quality control for costume pieces and animated parts. Maintain team member schedules. Perform proper and timely administration of daily payroll/time keeping. Provide counseling and coaching and timely performance reviews to Issue Area team members. Maintain staffing levels and hire new team members as needed. Communicate consistently with the costuming team by giving feedback for both recognition and improvement daily. Communicate with management and hourly team members, keeping communication open to maintain positive team member relations. Assist with the set up and operation of new projects and events as needed. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
High school degree or GED is required Additional training in theatrical costuming or wardrobe maintenance preferredEXPERIENCE
