Overview:
Summary of Job:
To coordinate the design, construction and installation of all technical aspects of live entertainment parades.Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Â- Work as a member of the area as needed.Â
- Demonstrate the ability communicate well, think quickly in pressure situations, and motivate a work crew.Â
- Have a full understanding of the job responsibilities for all the positions under their direct supervision.Â
- Develop and maintain work schedules for all staff in assigned area.Â
- Work within other department venues and units as the need arises.Â
- Develop procedures to make the area run properly and efficiently.Â
- Create and develop procedures for upcoming projects and parades to run smoothly and efficiently.Â
- Work with our Maintenance Department to ensure all floats and parade vehicles have been inspected and cleared to use daily.Â
- Execute approved design ideas as approved by the Entertainment Production Team.Â
- Maintain a guest first mentality ensuring all parades start on time.Â
- Work as a resource for the team.Â
- Navigate in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific production in potentially dark and restrictive spaces.Â
- Hold regular crew meetings to deliver park/department information and/or comments from Department ManagementÂ
- Monitor the performance of your team members.Â
- Provide coaching, counseling and disciplinary/commendable action as needed to maintain and improve the performance of the crew.Â
- Complete all departmental and park related paperwork.Â
- Ensure all shows elements stay well maintained and are executed safely.Â
- Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in your Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.Â
- Immediately reports any unsafe acts to the Managerial Supervisor.Â
- Train new personnel as needed.Â
- Complete all projects as asked by Managerial Supervisor.

ÂMinimum Age:
18Â- Shifts are dependent upon Department needsÂ
- Must have a valid Driver's LicenseÂ
- Must be able to stand/walk for the length of the shiftÂ
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditionsÂ
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitudeÂ
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
