Founded in 1918, Baker Demonstration School is an independent day school committed to providing an exemplary Preschool, Elementary and Middle School progressive education to our students. Our students come from Chicago, Evanston, Wilmette and other North Shore communities. Responsibilities:
Develop and facilitate age
  • appropriate daily rotating music themed group activities based on campers' interests Establish and uphold group norms that encourage camper engagement and collaboration Collaborate with counselors to prepare for activities Attend daily staff meetings prior to the start of camp each morning Communicate regularly with camp administrators Provide weekly reports to camp directors including weekly summaries and photos
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred At least 2 years' experience working with children in a music, camp or school setting Desire to work with children in a hands-on environment Desire to integrate each child's interests and needs to create a valuable cap experience Availability from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday Art Lead Director (Would work with all camp groups from PreK
