Summer Camp Lead Associate (Seasonal)

Lead Summer Camp Counselor Job Overview:

Join our team as a Lead Camp Counselor and make a positive impact on children's lives in a fun and engaging summer camp environment. As a Lead role, you will play a key role in supervising and leading camp activities, fostering personal growth, and creating memorable experiences for campers.

Duties:

• Supervise and engage with children in various camp activities
• Implement age-appropriate programs that promote learning and development
• Provide guidance and support to campers to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
• Lead recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, nature walks, and team-building exercises
• Assist in organizing special events and field trips
• Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a positive camp experience for all participants

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in roles such as childcare, tutoring, or classroom management
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
• Ability to educate and inspire campers through creative activities such as theater, sports coaching, or special education techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
