As an official partner of the Jr. Knicks, New York Knicks, and Westchester Knicks , we provide a high‑quality, professionally structured basketball experience for young athletes.

Camp Dates:
June 29•August 14 8:45 AM•4:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Compensation:
$5,005 total for summer camp Includes 35 camp days + 3 orientation days Role Overview The Lead Basketball Instructor will run daily basketball programming, skill development sessions, competitions, and age‑appropriate activities. Coaches must bring strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to create a fun, structured, and safe environment for all players. Responsibilities Lead basketball instruction for campers ages 7-13 Teach fundamentals including shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, and game IQ Organize drills, games, and competitions that are engaging and developmentally appropriate Maintain a positive, energetic, and professional presence Communicate effectively with camp leadership, staff, and families Uphold Rising Sport Stars' standards and represent our Knicks partnerships with pride Qualifications Prior coaching or playing experience required Experience working with children preferred Strong leadership, communication, and classroom‑management skills Ability to run high‑energy, structured sessions Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full camp schedule Opportunity Beyond Summer This position is not limited to the summer . Coaches who excel will have the opportunity to continue with Rising Sport Stars during the school year. Beginning September 2026 , part‑time coaching roles resume at a starting rate of $35/hr across our classes, clinics, leagues, and training programs.
