Site Lead Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and execution of camp programming at a specific site Supervise and support counselors and activity leaders Ensure smooth transitions between activities and overall camper engagement Coordinate with leadership to address any on-site challenges Develop and deliver professional development training during team orientation and team meetings Develop and manage the camp schedule and calendar Provide meaningful feedback and guidance to all activity team members Drive all aspects of camp programming including day-to-day activities, electives, and special events
Qualifications:
Must be highly organized Curriculum and Instruction interest or experience a plus Management experience a requirement Must be able to build and maintain a schedule Must be highly adaptable to change A personable and team-oriented approach, with strong communication skills Experience in media capture and content management (preferred but not required)
Head of Camper Support Responsibilities:
Ensure an inclusive, safe, and nurturing environment for all campers, with a special focus on those requiring additional guidance Implement behavior management strategies and de-escalation techniques Conduct camper check-ins and communicate with families as needed Provide staff training and coaching on camper support best practices Maintain thorough documentation of camper interactions and progress Foster open communication with parents, providing updates and addressing concerns Serve as the primary contact for family engagement, ensuring clear communication about camper experiences and expectations Collaborate with Counselors, Head Counselors, Activity Counselors, and the site lead to align efforts in camper care and well-being
Qualifications:
Strong background in youth support services, education, or social work Excellent problem-solving and crisis management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with campers, families, and staff Experience implementing behavior management strategies and conflict resolution techniques Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Head of Operations The Head of Operations serves as the logistical leader of the camp site, ensuring that daily schedules, resources, and systems run smoothly and efficiently. This role works in close partnership with the Site Lead to manage behind-the-scenes coordination so that programming can be delivered seamlessly. The Head of Operations oversees scheduling, supplies, facilities, transitions, and operational systems to create a structured and well-supported camp environment for both campers and staff. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy managing details, and take pride in building organized, efficient systems. The Head of Operations reports directly to the Site Lead and collaborates closely with the leadership team and campus administration. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, event coordination, or youth program management Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a dynamic environment Proficiency with scheduling tools and digital platforms Clear communicator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset Head of Program The Head of Program serves as the quality and execution leader of camp programming, ensuring every activity meets Change Summer's standards for excellence. This role is fully immersed in daily programming and works in close partnership with the Site Lead to monitor, assess, and strengthen program delivery across all activity spaces. The Head of Program spends the majority of each day observing instruction, supporting transitions, and coaching staff to ensure engaging, well-structured, and consistent experiences for campers. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, instructional-minded, and passionate about delivering high-quality youth programming. The Head of Program reports directly to the Site Lead and works closely with counselors and activity staff to uphold program excellence. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in youth programming, instructional leadership, or program oversight Strong ability to observe and assess program quality Experience providing feedback and coaching to staff Excellent organizational and communication skills Commitment to high standards, consistency, and joyful camper experiences
