Summer Day Camp Group Leader

Responsibilities

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and lead recreation, craft, and educational activities. Provide the children with positive reinforcements and role modeling Provide supervision to children on and off premises. Facilitate the transportation of children as needed. Facilitate weekly transportation inspection and monthly transportation drills. Attend required in-service training, as well as required training to meet state standards Maintain and monitor attendance records and sign-in/out sheets. Other duties deemed necessary for the proper operation of the Summer Program by the Program Director. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE.

High School Diploma Ability to communicate effectively. Safety oriented at all times. Prior education experience preferred Prior childcare experience preferred

SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS. A

clean, current driver's license a must Current CPR and First Aid certification are needed.
