- Films (CSM-F) is responsible for leading the Films team, overseeing project execution from concept through post-production, and ensuring a high-performing, collaborative, and efficient workflow.
This role plays a key part in strategic planning, team development, and operational success across all video production projects. The CSM-F works directly with the VP of Creative Services and Creative Director to ensure creative outputs align with company strategy, timelines, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Supervise, support, and lead the Films team; foster a healthy and accountable workplace culture
Project Oversight:
Manage timelines, staffing, and resources for all phases of film projects—pre-production, production, and post-production
Operational Planning:
Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, profitability, and team capacity
Client Communication:
Engage in client-facing activities that build relationships, communicate effectively, and anticipate needs
Crew Staffing & Equipment Management:
Coordinate internal and external crew, actors, and contractors; ensure proper maintenance and use of video equipment
Production Coordination:
Oversee shoot logistics, permits, asset collection, and file organization for efficient project execution
Strategic Collaboration:
Align departmental goals with overall company initiatives; provide regular updates to leadership
Administrative Duties:
Review timesheets, manage budgets and timelines, and participate in performance feedback and succession planning
Cross-Team Collaboration:
Act as liaison between departments, building positive internal relationships and ensuring strong communication across leadershi p Qualifications & Requirements Portfolio or work samples are required with your application. Minimum (7) years of experience in a video production environment Minimum (2) years of leadership or management experience Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, with demonstrable video production experience Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, DaVinci Resolve, and livestreaming platforms Deep expertise in video production—including lighting, sound, directing shoots, editing, motion graphics, and animation FAA Part 107 certification and experience operating sUAS platforms preferred Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills High attention to detail and ability to multitask across complex projects Business acumen and understanding of creative operations Ability to work independently with limited direction Travel & Physical Requirements In-office presence required, with shoots occurring either at the FPW office or at client locations. Work environment may include outdoor and indoor, and unpredictable conditions, requiring the use of PPE Ability to travel regionally and nationally with 1-5 overnight stays, sometimes on short notice.
