We are seeking energetic and dedicated Camp Leaders to join our vibrant summer program! In this role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and inspire young minds through fun, educational, and character-building experiences. This paid summer position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain valuable childcare experience, and create memorable moments for children of all ages. If you love working with kids and want to be part of an exciting team, this is the perfect role for you! Duties Lead and supervise children during camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Plan and facilitate a variety of recreational, educational, and creative activities tailored to different age groups Maintain a safe environment by enforcing rules, managing behavior, and implementing behavior management strategies Provide first aid when necessary, following proper protocols to address minor injuries or health concerns Support children with special needs or in early childhood education programs to promote inclusive participation Collaborate with team members to organize daily schedules, special events, and themed activities Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, tutoring, or camp environments is preferred Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors confidently Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified Experience in teaching, sports coaching, theater, or Christian counseling adds value to your application Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards working with children and team members Ability to engage children through creative activities like arts, sports, or drama while maintaining safety standards Join us this summer as a Camp Leader and help create an inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun!
