What you get to do:
We are seeking an Entertainment Supervisor who will be responsible for providing exemplary service and ensure Entertainment Standards are met including resolving guest concerns, investigating, and providing recommendations to correct reoccurring guest issues, ensuring all team members are providing the highest level of guest courtesy, recognizing, and rewarding team members who provide exemplary service.
You will:
Monitor administrative responsibilities such as, punch lists, rehearsal schedules, production archives, production calendars & timelines Assist with department auditions & casting Teach all movement elements of a show, including new choreography as needed. Train, evaluate, coach, and develop the performance of the cast/crew in your assigned venue/area. Administering feedback sessions and evaluations in a timely manner. Various tasks for assigned venue/area to include, but not limited to, monitoring team member hours and show schedule, team member documentation, updating/maintaining team member files, checking/responding to email in a timely manner, and assisting guests when necessary Provide show direction for all costumed character shows, as well as other show product as assigned. Assist the Entertainment Leaders in all supervisory capacities Oversee the performance and productivity of all location team members and assistant supervisors Resolve all Guest Service matters for the department in a professional and timely manner Supervise team members and assistant supervisors while enforcing and complying safety procedures and guidelines Responsible for the training and counseling of team members and assistant supervisors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards Complete appropriate paperwork and administer discipline in a timely manner Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks, lunches and hours worked per day Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member while supporting and demonstrating exemplary guest service Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) lifting and reporting unsafe situations What it takes to succeed: A passion for customer service Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needs Ability to work in a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment High level of guest hospitality skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task What else is important: Minimum of three (3) months experience in a leadership position or equivalent external experience No significant performance deficiencies within a 1-year period. High School Diploma preferred General knowledge of theatrical operation required Valid driver's license to operate parade floats required Must have availability that meets the business needs of the position High level of guest hospitality skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task required High level of verbal and written communication skills required Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards Flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement Ability to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as: FREE park admission Discounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friends Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Scholarship opportunities Exclusive employee events and giveaways
