Full Job Description Key Requirements & Working Conditions Availability:

Must be available for evening and weekend shifts across various locations.

Environment:

Works in both indoor and outdoor aquatic settings.

Physicality:

Applicants must be physically capable of participating in and leading aquatic activities.

Versatility:

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Typical Duties Programming:

Plan, organize, and lead aquatic activities for various groups.

Front Desk & Admin:

Greet customers, manage phone inquiries, process fees/revenue via a point-of-sale system, and track attendance records.

Safety & Supervision:

Perform standard lifeguarding duties, supervise patrons to maintain order, and administer basic first aid for minor injuries.

Facility Maintenance:

Maintain pool water chemistry in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Perform housekeeping (cleaning locker rooms, emptying trash, pressure washing). Conduct equipment repairs and pool maintenance (vacuuming, backwashing).

Operations:

Submit requests for repairs/equipment and oversee the work of seasonal staff or volunteers.

Events:

Organize the setup and operation of swim meets, including timing equipment maintenance.
