From the first pour of the day to the last song of the night, AJ's delivers live music, ice-cold drinks, and the kind of good time people travel across the country for. We're looking for a Floor Manager to own the day shift and keep every floor running smooth from open through handoff. About the Role As Floor Manager, you run the shift. You're on the floor, present and visible, keeping the energy up, the service flowing, and every situation that pops up handled before it becomes a problem. You set the tone for the team, look after the guests, and make sure the building runs the way it should during your shift. You lead by example — calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and always ready to step in wherever you're needed. Pay & Schedule $25.00 per hour Full-time — 40 hours per week, 5 days per week Day shift Running the Shift Be present and visible on the floor for the full shift — lead the team and set the pace from open through handoff Run day-shift floor operations, including opening duties and shift handoff Keep service flowing smoothly across the floor during peak periods Handle issues as they come up — guest concerns, staff questions, and day-to-day problems — and resolve them in the moment Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and brand standards across the floor at all times Coordinate and communicate with bar staff, security, and the rest of the team to keep everyone on the same page Support private events, parties, and special activations held at the venue Guest Experience Greet guests with energy and make them feel at home the moment they walk in Set and hold the tone for a high-energy, good-time guest experience on the floor Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and genuine warmth Make sure every guest leaves having had a great time — and a reason to come back Money & Back Office Operations Proficiency with the POS system preferred — comfortable running, troubleshooting, and supporting staff on it Complete back office money operations during the shift Follow cash-handling and money-operations procedures accurately and consistently Who You Are You're a natural leader who lifts up the people around you and leads by example You're present, reliable, and punctual — the team can count on you every shift You stay cool under pressure and keep the floor running no matter how busy it gets You're a strong communicator who keeps the team coordinated and informed You take pride in the experience you create for guests and the standard you hold the floor to You're comfortable working days, weekends, and special events
