Full Job Description Overview:
The Seasonal Show Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of live shows and performances. This position involves coordinating with various Entertainment departments, managing performers, and ensuring that all performance aspects are in place. This Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of shows, requiring excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a Part-Time role that will work on average 29 hours or less and has a payrate of $21/hour.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities & Duties Coordinate with various departments including lighting, sound, and staging to ensure all show elements are ready for the performance Manage and supervise performers during rehearsals and live performances Follow all rehearsal and show schedules, ensuring all timelines are met Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Resolve any performance issues that arise during rehearsals or live shows Communicate with performers, directors, and Six Flags Leadership to ensure smooth operations Provide training and guidance to new hires Evaluate show performance and provide feedback for improvement Ensure all show-related documentation is accurate and up to date
Qualifications:
Qualifications & Skills Associate's/ Bachelor's degree or related experience in Theater Production, Event Management, or a similar field Extensive experience in live event production or show operations Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertaining to live events Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred Previous experience in a supervisory role in show operations or event management Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in using scheduling and project management software Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong problem-solving abilities, including how to handle unexpected situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and Leadership Bonus Skills (not required) Experience as a Vocal Director and/or Choreographer
