Overview:
Responsible for organizing and overseeing the Member golf shop operations, communicating with starters/marshals ensuring accuracy of billing, implementing policies and procedures as directed by Pro Staff, while driving sales of products to increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
Assist with leading the Golf Pros in leading the team. Oversee maintenance of all equipment and cleanliness of the Golf Shop. Perform all other administrative functions required and communicate information from management meetings. Work safely at all times and follow all safety procedures as outlined in your Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention Manual. Work directly with the Retail Manager on new incentives and ideas to generate revenue. Responsible for involvement with physical inventories once per quarter or 4 times per year. Become an expert in and train in all Omni Related Retail SOP's. Assist in the timely flow of merchandise from receiving to shops to maximize sales. Communicate and partner effectively with the Retail Manager. Propose and implement best practices for starters and marshals to enhance communication of relevant and accurate information, based on insights gained from daily operations. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include waring the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working. Responsible for communication and coordination with golf service staff, starters, and marshals to tend to the needs of all customers that enter the member golf shop. Must maintain a working knowledge of golf operations for all courses. Supervise the reserving of tee times, player check-in, tee sheet management, and tee sheet requisites each day. Supervise the maintaining orderly presentation of the golf shop. Assist with any inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
Prior retail and direct customer service experience is strongly preferred. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone. Scheduling flexibility, including willingness to work weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service skills. English language proficiency required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and move moderate weights. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to withstand possible 9-12 hour work day.
Working Environment:
Indoor Interior of Golf shop, in normal office conditions Occasional outdoor tasks and travel around property when needed.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Candidate must have strong customer service skills and abilities.
