JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support daily camp operations and help ensure all programs run smoothly and on schedule Serve as a key point of communication for parents regarding student updates, pickup/drop-off, and general camp information Coordinate daily camp logistics including attendance, transitions, classroom setup, and material organization Lead ice breakers, group games, team-building activities, and other camp community-building activities Help create a fun, welcoming, and positive environment for all campers throughout the day Assist instructors, assistants, and volunteers to maintain a safe and productive learning environment Monitor student engagement and help support positive student behavior during camp activities Support setup, cleanup, lunch supervision, and overall daily camp flow Handle minor issues and assist with problem-solving in a professional and positive manner Serve as a positive role model for campers and help promote enthusiasm for STEM learning

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 21 years old Bachelor's degree or higher preferred (education, communication, psychology, STEM-related field, or equivalent experience preferred) Experience working with youth programs, camps, education, customer service, or event coordination preferred Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills Friendly, energetic, patient, and able to work effectively with students, parents, and staff Comfortable leading group activities and engaging with elementary and middle school students Ability to stay organized and flexible in a fast-paced camp environment Availability during Summer. Work hours will be scheduled within the time frame of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays Blaze Robotics Academy is looking for an engaging, responsible, and inspiring Camp Director to join our team of passionate and fun educators. Blaze Robotics is a leading provider of STEM education and competitive robotics on the Eastside with year-round camps and classes designed to ignite a passion for science, technology and math through hands-on activities focused on robotics, programming and 3D printing. Our organization is looking for a mature individual who has prior experience leading youth programs, and is comfortable managing both staff and students at our Bellevue or Issaquah locations. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is excited about STEM education and enjoys leading programs both in and outside the classroom environment. This position is perfect for school administrators, experienced educators, and professionals who are looking for impactful leadership experience in youth education. •This position could lead to a part-time or full-time position in our school year robotics program.
