Open until June 12, 2026 About the Community Building Children's Center The Community Building Children's Center (CBCC) offers a full-day, year-round, Reggio-inspired early care and education program for children ages 12 months through 5 years. CBCC is committed to supporting young children, their families, and the staff who care for and educate them through the development of environments that foster friendship, curiosity, self-esteem, and joy. Our goal is to create a strong community of learning and mutual support. We believe in the amazing capacity of each child: their imagination, intelligence, and capability. We believe that when children are surrounded by loving, nurturing, and joyful family members and teachers it creates a foundation for peaceful, generative lives. We believe in the unity of the human family and in caring for the earth, our home. We open our doors, hearts, and minds to all who are willing to embrace this journey with us. By doing so, we create a community of compassionate people with children at its center. About Urban Adventure Camp Our Urban Adventure Camp gets children out of the classroom daily for real-world, nature-based experiences. The Community Building sits at the heart of our great city which makes a multitude of experiences accessible. Children are provided opportunities to draw on these experiences in the classroom, exploring their creativity through painting sculpting, drawing, construction, music, poetry, and drama. Here, children are engaged in creativity, surrounded by experienced, loving teachers, and are given opportunities to celebrate the natural world. The feelings, thoughts, and theories of children are honored and respected. Give your child the give to adventure this summer as they explore not only our beautiful city, but their inner creativity. Our summer program runs from June22 through August 21 and is for ages K-3. Why choose CBCC? We offer an inclusive work environment focused on supporting and developing our teachers with robust professional development and a competitive compensation package. We offer the opportunity for you to grow and engage with the team you support throughout the school year including time for reflection, team planning and classroom environment planning. In addition to growing and developing children we believe it is critical to grow and develop our staff. Connection with families is in-depth and adds an element of partnership unique to the field of childcare. We have a bright future ahead and we hope you want to be included in our journey.
