Evening Shift (Approximately 9 Hours) About One World Rental One World Rental is a global event technology and event support company delivering staffing and operational support for conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, festivals, concerts, and immersive live entertainment experiences worldwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Event Lead for a Candlelight Concert experience in Anchorage. These unique live music events transform iconic venues into immersive candlelit environments, creating a memorable guest experience featuring live performances in a visually stunning setting. Position Overview The Event Lead will oversee all onsite operations for the event, ensuring smooth execution from setup through breakdown. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and prior experience managing event teams in live entertainment, hospitality, or venue environments. Responsibilities Lead all onsite event operations from setup to breakdown Manage, coordinate, and support event staff throughout the shift Assign roles including check-in, ushering, and guest services Oversee guest entry, seating flow, and overall audience experience Act as primary onsite contact for venue staff, performers, and vendors Ensure venue setup meets event standards (seating, signage, check-in areas) Coordinate staff breaks and maintain proper coverage at all times Support performers and ensure smooth show execution Handle guest escalations and resolve issues professionally Monitor event quality, presentation standards, and guest experience Complete incident reports and post-event documentation as required Ensure the venue is reset and restored after the event Preferred Experience Event Lead, Event Supervisor, or Event Manager experience Live music, concerts, performing arts, or venue operations Hospitality leadership or guest services management Conference, exhibition, or festival coordination Strong experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments Ticketing, registration, or front-of-house operations Requirements Must have prior experience in event leadership or supervision Must be highly presentable, polished, and professional in appearance Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to manage teams and resolve issues under pressure Comfortable interacting with guests, performers, and venue staff Reliable transportation Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must be available for the full shift (approximately 9 hours in the evening) Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability Compensation & Benefits $250 per day Biweekly payments 1099 Independent Contractor position Opportunity for recurring Event Lead roles Work with a global live event company supporting premium experiences Additional event opportunities across North America How to Apply If interested, please create a contractor profile using this link: https://oneworld.staffwise.app/staffarea/login.
